About Us
Most travelers arrive with a list. The pizza place. The ruins. The coast road south. They leave having ticked boxes — and having missed everything.
Naples doesn't reveal itself to visitors. It reveals itself to people who are welcomed in.
That's the only reason The Naples Atelier exists.
Who we are
We are a small, carefully assembled team of people who were born into, grew up alongside, or built their lives around this corner of southern Italy.
Not guides. Not agents. People with keys.
Keys to the private dining room of a Michelin-starred chef who doesn’t advertise. To the family vineyard on the Amalfi hillside that hasn’t appeared in a magazine. To the boat captain who knows exactly when the light hits Positano in a way that will stop your breath.
These relationships weren’t built for a business. They came first. The business came after — because too many people we met were experiencing Naples at arm’s length, and we knew there was another way.
How we work
Every inquiry we receive is treated as a conversation, not a transaction.
You tell us who you are, when you’re coming, and what kind of experience moves you — whether that’s culinary depth, cultural immersion, unhurried coastal days, or something you haven’t quite found the words for yet. We listen carefully, then we build something around you.
We keep our groups intentionally small — never more than ten people — because intimacy is the whole point. Sometimes that means a private family experience. Sometimes it means bringing together a handful of like-minded travelers who end up sharing a table, a boat, and a conversation they’ll talk about for years.
No two itineraries are identical. The price you see on this site is a starting point, not a ceiling or a constraint. What matters is that what we design feels right for you.
Why Naples, why now
Naples and the Amalfi Coast have always attracted travelers. But something has shifted in recent years — a growing number of people are arriving not just for the beauty, but for the substance. The craftsmanship. The food culture that goes far deeper than what any restaurant list can capture. The particular kind of joy that Neapolitans carry in their daily lives.
We are here to be the bridge between that world and yours.
